Lexmark - On the Market???

We ran across some chatter about Lexmark putting itself on the market for potential buyers. Rumor or fact? We don't know. We're just reporting the chatter. But as we all know, where there's smoke, there's usually fire. And, if my gut proves me right then something is cooking in oven of the office supplies industry. Let's hope it doesn't take 9 months to reveal itself!
Who could a potential buyer be? Xerox, Samsung, Lenovo, Golden Gate, Canon, Hewlett Packard, Dell? This might be a huge conflict in the channel but what about Staples, Office Max, Office Depot OR will there be an Office Max/Office Depot merger to compete with Staples? Would Lexmark consider going private??

We'll just have to wait and see.
